Kenny was born and raised in Union County and has worked and lived in Union all his life. He is involved in the community and serves on various civic groups. In 2017, Kenny founded The New Horizon Foundation. This allows the agents to financially contribute to a fund with which the company will match any amount given in order to give back to different non-profit originations in Union County.

Kenny is married to Melanie O’Shields and they have 4 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Kenny is an active member of Philippi Baptist Church where he and Melanie are Sunday School Teachers. He and Melanie also enjoy competing in competition BBQ tournaments and spending time with family.
