Kenny O’Shields has worked in the real estate industry since 1990. He became a licensed real estate appraiser in 1992 while working for the Union County Assessors Office. In 1999, Kenny founded Kenny O’Shields Appraisals, where he continues to appraise properties throughout the upstate of South Carolina. In 2012, Kenny became a full time licensed real estate agent with New Horizon Realty. In 2015 he became a licensed broker and acquired New Horizon Realty from its previous owner, Linda Thomas. The business then became know as New Horizon Realty, The O’Shields Real Estate Group LLC. Kenny began to grow the company by hiring additional agents and expanding the service area.

Melanie is originally from North Carolina and made Union, South Carolina her home in 2016. She became a Realtor in 2020 and really wants to help buyers find their dream home!  She will work hard to make sure you are happy and is always available to her clients to answer any questions they may have and help them understand the buying and selling process.  She is married to Kenny O’Shields, owner and Broker-in-Charge of New Horizon Realty.

I have been a life Iong resident of Union County, having grown up in the Buffalo Community. My husband Jeff and I will celebrate our 39th anniversary on October 6th. We have two children, Kelli (34) and Trent (28) along with 6 wonderful grandchildren, who keep me very busy. I love spending time with my family, watching HGTV, crafting and making wreaths.

Charlene began her real estate career 15 years ago with Prudential Real Estate Company in Spartanburg SC, where she was provided classes daily to become the best realtor she can be. She attended Fortune Academy and took appraisal classes.

Jordan is from Landrum SC. She moved to Union in 2016.
She is married to Bo Whitney and they have a daughter. Jordan graduated from Landrum High School in 2009, studied abroad in Nicaragua in 2012 and then graduated from USC Upstate in 2017.

Lucas joined New Horizon Realty in 2020. He graduated from Union County High School and lives in Union. He enjoys playing golf and working out at the gym. Lucas specializes in new construction as he works with the family home building business. He understands all aspects of building, buying and selling homes. Lucas is a very energetic young man, values hard work and great communication with his clients. He is ready to help with your home buying and selling needs.

Robin is originally from Gaffney, SC and moved to Union County in 2017.
She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Limestone College.  Robin has prior real estate knowledge and enjoys meeting new clients.  She provides quality customer service by building and maintaining relationships through effective communications.
